ABOUT ABOUT

There are two accounts of the creation of mankind in the book of Genesis. In the first, man and woman appear to be created in the same instant. In the second account a chapter later, Eve is formed from one of Adam's ribs. Jewish folklore from the 8th to 10th century reconciles these two accounts with the idea that the woman created in Genesis Chapter 1 was not Eve, but a different woman altogether: Adam's first wife, Lilith, who became demonized after her own fall from grace. In medieval Europe, the story of Lilith circulated, and in the 18th century it was not uncommon to find amulets protecting pregnant mothers and newborn children from Lilith's harm.

Find out what happens when Eve and Lilith find each other face to face, confronting each other, their circumstances, and their futures.
