Halau Hula I Ka La- The Hula

Hula is the dance that serves to preserve the legends, traditions & history of the Hawaiian people. Experience an interpretive evolution of The Hula from Hawai'i's pre-contact period to present day, including the kahiko ("ancient") & 'auana ("modern") styles of the cultural dance. This show features children and adults from the Fresno area who have come together, despite their varied backgrounds, to share their Aloha spirit and love for the culture.
